Abstract: Through literature research and questionnaire survey, this paper understands the background, significance and current situation of AI education, understands the relevant theories of AI education, and finds out the problems and challenges faced by AI entering the information technology classroom of middle school. In view of the problems and challenges faced by middle school intelligent education, such as unclear teaching objectives, immature teaching contents, unscientific teaching methods, weak teachers, lack of educational resources, insufficient class hours, and ignorance of attitude, this paper puts forward some suggestions, namely, clarifying teaching objectives and core quality, selecting teaching contents, understanding teaching methods, strengthening teachers, and strengthening software and hardware It is necessary to improve the teaching and learning attitude. Finally, the future development of AI education is predicted.
